Celebrate A Christmas Tradition October 30 - January 3, 2015, Dixie Stampede transforms into a holiday celebration including a beautiful live Nativity with three kings atop camels, holiday music, a visit from Santa and a four-course yuletide feast. Highlighted by the bright musical fantasy, “The Magic of Toys," as one Christmas night, the Sugar Plum Fairy appears in a sleepy toyshop and magically brings all the toys to life in a musical celebration. Highlighted by a stunning aerial display and set to the unforgettable music of the Nutcracker, “The Magic of Toys” will delight the kid in you and every member of your family.

You’ll “Cowboy Up” to a big, hot, rib-stickin’ bowl of 3-bean Trail chili, maple smoked turkey breast, a whole flame-roasted ear of corn, a Texas-size slab of cornbread with honey butter, and fresh-made dutch-oven apple cobbler, along with a hot cup of cowboy coffee!
Then, as we celebrate Christmas on the Trail, you’ll sing along, as we share a Cowboy Christmas, complete with your favorite Christmas Carols, and a special time of reflection on the true meaning of the Christmas Season!
Join us around the campfire, as we create a Christmas memory complete with familiar carols, and unique cowboy reflections that will touch your heart and stir your memories!
Then enjoy the 17-year Heritage of Holiday Magic, the Trail of Lights! As you drive your own car through this 2-1/2 mile display of lights, sound, and motion, you’ll see millions of multi-colored Christmas lights and themed, animated displays, winding its way through the 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead, and straight into the very Heart of Christmas!
Included in the Trail is a trip up the area’s largest Christmas Tree – the 230 foot Inspiration Tower – for a Santa’s-eye view of the Trail of Lights, and a complimentary cup of coffee, hot-chocolate, or spiced cider!

Dinner starts at 6:30 P.M. and is up in our Balcony. When we reserve folks for the dinner theatre they will remain in the Balcony for the show. (If you'd like seating on the floor level for the show please make note of that in your reservations.) These are great seats and the view is incredible. It's a real fun experience.

Legends in Concerts’ Christmas Season (Nov. 1-Jan 3 2015) brings back those magical memories of “the most wonderful time of the year”. Featuring songs such as “The Christmas Song” with Nat King Cole, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” performed by Rod Stewart, “Blue Christmas” from Dean Z as Elvis, “Up on the Housetop” by Reba McEntire and the hilariously warm and fuzzy “Christmas Medley” performed by The Blues Brothers™. A highlight of the Christmas finale features Bucky Heard (Jake Blues) and Desta Pritchard performing a beautiful duet singing “Mary Did You Know”. The finale also showcases each Legend performing their favorite Christmas song. There’s even a special appearance by the “jolly old man in red”, Santa!
